Kate and Michael’s Port Douglas wedding was special. They did things just a little bit differently.
Kate was channelling old style glamour and elegance right from the beginning of the day..
while the bride’s maid & MC worked on writing things down…
The flower from Floral Edge were stunning as usual.
Red velvet wedding shoes and natives in the bouquet…
Maggie helped Kate into her “party dress”,
Kate and Michael had decided to have their wedding photos before the ceremony, so they didn’t spend any time away from their guests afterwards. Here is Kate, waiting for Michael for a first look. How cute is she??
Then it was back to the apartment to put in Michael’s flowers, but the button hole was quite right so Maggie was on hand with a pair of scissors.
We went to a very special spot, where Kate and Michael had a pre-wedding picnic. It was beautiful.
This is the view from the window at St Mary’s by the Sea,
and this is one very happy groom.
The ceremony by Sarah Woods had laughter and tears.
Everyone enjoyed champagne by the church afterwards.
Then it was getting dark, so time to head over to Salsa,
where everything was set and ready and the staff were waiting for the guests.
It certainly was a wonderful wedding!!
