Jayden and Mel were married at Birdsong B&B in Port Douglas. It’s big enough for them both to get ready without seeing each other.
I was going to see the girls, first, but ran into the boys having a fairly typical boy conversation and drinking beers…
While the girls were getting ready.
The boys moved over to where the ceremony was to be held
and were busy figuring out where the sun would be for the afternoon wedding.
The flowers were by Floral Edge and Mel absolutely loved them.

Jayden had a fairly new scar from his buck’s night,
which soon disappeared completely.
Then there was the usual “how do you put these things on anyway?”
The ceremony was in the garden, (which, correctly predicted earlier, was quite shady).
and Jayden was a very happy man when he saw Mel
Balloons were released for Jayden’s father, who hung around in the trees for the ceremony.
Celebrant Rosina Santarossa was fantastic,
When Rosina came to the part of the vows about “lovers” the balloon behind Jayden popped, and made everyone giggle.
And Jayden’s Dad was still there…
Off to the beach and a quick touch up
before a little dance practise.
Then to the park for a few shenanigans with a very fun bridal party.
What a beautiful wedding!!
