Every couple are different and every wedding is different. As photographers we all have our certain styles. The way we shoot, the way we edit, and this evolves over the years. For me inspiration also comes from each couple, from every location, and so the style is influenced by the nature of the bride and groom.
I hadn’t had a chance to meet Zoe and Andreas in person before the wedding, so we met face to face for the first time on the morning of the wedding in Palm Cove.
I found Zoe to be quiet and elegant. There’s a calmness and stillness about her.
This is the story of that day.
Well, we actually met mirror to face as Zoe was having her done.
…so, apparently was the make-up kit.
Andreas was over the way with his family and best friend who had come over form Germany for the wedding.
It was a pretty relaxed wedding morning, even the coffee was feeling the love. (That’s a heart in case you didn’t notice.)
Back at Zoe’s the flower girls were watching TV,
and last minute touches were being taken care of.
I think this is one of my favourite wedding dresses this year…
The ceremony was held at The Rising Sun rooftop in Palm Cove.
The ceremony was by the lovely Eloise Barker-Re
and flowers by Stella.
It was a pretty exciting day. Not everyone made it through.
The rest of the Flower People however, were in fine form.
But we did leave them, and Zoe and Andreas and I took some time out for a few quiet photos.
The reception was at Nunu, and was amazing.
The restaurant is already fabulous, was was made more so by help of The Vintage Hire Company.
There was a special concert from the Flower People
