The day Catherine and Jarrod had their wedding in Port Douglas on Four Mile Beach was perfect. There was a slight breeze – just enough to keep everyone cool.
The ceremony was conducted by Sarah Woods, who as well as being a fabulous celebrant, is also rather good at tie straightening.
Catherine arrived with her mother and bridesmaids.
Jarrod, reflected in Catherine’s eyes
Catherine’s bridesmaids Rhe and Erin did the girl’s hair, and Shae from Tropical Beauty did the makeup. Catherine’s gorgeous bouquet was by the girls at Floral Edge.
I’m pretty sure the boys did their own hair.
We stayed around the boardwalk of the Sea Temple for a few drinks, then headed off for some photos.
It was late afternoon and the light was golden and perfect, bouncing off the tree trunks.
Catherine is such a sweetheart, and just stunning.
We did go for a tiny hike through the forest, and just as Catherine commented how clear the water was, a little rocket frog jumped out of the creek and landed at her feet.
But soon it was getting dark, and time to head back to the Sea Temple
and to the party.
What a beautiful wedding for two beautiful people!

What wonderful, wonderful photo’s. As mother of the Bride I am in tears (but happy tears) Absolutely beautiful surroundings and magnificent shots of everyone. Overwhelmed. Couldn’t not wait to receive photo’s but never expected anything as good as these.
Well done.
Hi Lynn, Thank you so much! I have to admit though, with such a gorgeous couple it makes it pretty easy!
