Heather & Grant – A Port Douglas Sugar Wharf Wedding

Heather & Grant have lived in Port Douglas for a long time and when they married, they decided to celebrate at the Sugar Wharf.

Heather was getting ready at a friend’s house in Port.  Hair and make-up beautifully done by Port Douglas Hair & Make-up.  Heather looked stunning.

The sunflowers were vibrant and beautiful.

Meanwhile, in town,

I arrived to photograph the guys, Grant was ready in a flash, but the best man was MIA.

Almost about ready to go.  Now just to figure out how to pin a flower on a vest…

And, ladies and gentlemen… The Groom!!!

and the beautiful bride.

It was a hazy but lovely afternoon at the Sugar Wharf

and Heather arrived in style.

A quick kiss for the girls, a quick Pimms, and ready to go.

Flowers in the aisle of the wharf made a beautiful aisle

The ceremony by Stephanie Milne was perfect.

The beach was blue skies and sun-shiney

and the perfect spot for telling jokes to your new husband…

…then blocking him from the group shot.

A quick stop at QT

for cocktails

and a bit of lounging on a piano

before back to the Sugar Wharf for the stunning sky of an July afternoon in Port Douglas.

And a wonderful reception.

Congratulations Heather and Lawsy – it was an honour to be part of your wedding.
