Nicole and Neil had their Port Douglas wedding at Niramaya – and it is beautiful.
Nicole was one of the sweetest, most relaxed brides ever.
I spent a few hours with her before the wedding, and in that time her brother’s shoe broke,
the flower girls were practising walking down the aisle,
her grandpa was contemplating,
and her bridesmaid trying to keep cool.
In the bedroom were all the beautiful things Nicole was about to dress in.
The wedding was in the afternoon, near the pool as the shade was coming over.
The ceremony by celebrant Stephanie Milne was lovely.
A string quartet played for the guests during the signing.
And the flower girls practised getting married.
It’s a real treat spending time with a bride and groom after the ceremony – everyone is relaxed and happy – there are no more nerves
It’s also a really nice chance for them to spend a bit of quiet time in a busy day
It was a pretty windy day, so we didn’t spend too long on the beach..
The venue looked stunning, and the Otz girls run the kitchen there now. Their food is absolutely mouth watering.
Nicole and Neil’s wedding was relaxed and intimate, and they are a gorgeous sweet couple.
